Small Business Ownership

I’ve been a freelancer since 2009 offering my art and designs to a handful of businesses and non-profits around Southern California. From 2013-2015 I had a business and shop in Downtown Long Beach with my husband called Mixt Media Arts where we sold alternative/eco-friendly art supplies, held art walks, gallery shows, and art workshops.

Passion Projects

I have infused my art into a few of my passions like sustainability, the fresh food movement and gardening, and kids art. I have helped lead community engagement projects such as community mural installations, a Kids Fall Harvest Festival, Green Long Beach Festivals, Firehouse Fiber Arts Show, and was a guest speaker at the Dana Point Ocean Institute. A handful of projects were graciously funded by grants that I was rewarded for with fellow non-profits I collaborated with.
