Small Business Ownership
Amy is a freelancer since 2009 offering art and designs to a handful of businesses and non-profits around Southern California. From 2013-2015 she had a business and shop in Downtown Long Beach with her husband called Mixt Media Arts where they sold alternative/eco-friendly art supplies, held art walks, gallery shows, and art workshops.
Passion Projects
Amy has infused her art and graphic design experience into her passions like sustainability, the fresh food movement, gardening, and kids art and education. Amy has helped lead community engagement projects such as community mural installations, Kids Fall Harvest Festival, Green Long Beach Festivals, Firehouse Fiber Arts Show, and art education workshops, etc. She has created hand painted signs and art for businesses, events, non-profits, and residents for 15 years.
